This publication endeavored to integrate our local Camino Polaco into the broader European St. James tradition, emphasizing historical, theological, and regional perspectives. This was just the beginning, with further contributions following promptly. Currently, we wish to present a resource that could prove useful for those intending to embark on the Way of St. James in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Province. This isn't a groundbreaking concept regarding the St. James's Routes. The first guide to the Camino de Santiago, known as "Liber Sancti Iacobi," emerged in the 12th century and offered detailed descriptions of the paths and challenges a traveler might face.
