The central focus of this book is the engagement of social actors in the housing policy process. The author highlights a significant gap in existing literature regarding the understanding of social actors' roles in this context. This gap becomes particularly evident when analyzing housing policy through the lens of deliberative democracy. Additionally, current housing studies lack adequate research tools to effectively examine how social actors participate in the housing policy process. The book addresses this issue by proposing a new research framework that aims to explore and enhance the understanding of social actor involvement in housing policy. This framework seeks to integrate a constructivist approach, offering a more comprehensive and in-depth perspective. The goal of this dissertation is to refine the `D-Housing` scheme developed by the author, thereby contributing to a deeper theoretical and methodological understanding of the subject.
