Investigator Alexander Tyurin seems to have regained a sense of normalcy in his life. Having emerged from his past in the underworld, he now finds himself promoted and living in a new apartment. Still, confusion lingers about the events at the Serpent's Cave, leaving him with gaps in his memory and doubts about his own trustworthiness. On the other hand, former underworld figure Parfentiy Topchiy comes to terms with his past errors and poor decisions. Seeking redemption, he ventures back to where he is least welcome - the werewolf pack. Meanwhile, Dr. Vasylina Ives encounters a grave new challenge. A lethal epidemic exclusively targeting women is sweeping through Kyiv, defying any known cure. Yet, Vira Cheberyak, the mysterious wife of a merchant, claims to possess a miracle solution. Determined to unveil the deception, Miss Ives embarks on a mission to debunk the fraud. The characters face a myriad of trials, as love, friendship, ancient deities, and political conspiracies stretch them and the Boundary to their limits.
