This monograph provides a unique look into the demoscene culture, particularly through the lens of enthusiasts and creators engrossed in the ZX Spectrum, the iconic British 8-bit computer. Rather than recounting the official history, the book offers a localized narrative that explores how this Western platform was adapted, including through widespread hardware cloning.
