Marek Eminowicz - sylwetka autora
Professor Marek Eminowicz is a Polish historian with Armenian roots, and is originally from Kraków. He graduated from the Jagiellonian University, where he studied history. During his university years, he became involved with a clandestine group known as the Union of Fighting Polish Youth. This affiliation contributed to his inability to teach history in schools until the late 1960s.
Aside from his academic career, Eminowicz has made significant contributions to literature, either as an author or co-author of several publications. His works include a comprehensive genealogy of his family tracing back to the early 17th century. Among his notable publications are "The Eminowicz Family 1628-1988," published in 1989 by the Eminowicz Family Publishing, "Polska. Rody magnackie," co-authored with Jan Robotycki and released by Kluszczyński Publishing in 2007, and a later publication titled "Lubię swoje wady. Marek Eminowicz w opowieściach na siedemdziesięciopięciolecie," published by Małe Wydawnictwo in 2008. Apart from his dedication to history, he was also passionate about tourism.
