Lou Clark is aware of many things in life. She knows the precise number of steps between her house and the bus stop. Working at The Buttered Bun tea shop brings her joy, yet she is uncertain about her true feelings for her boyfriend, Patrick. However, Lou is unaware that she is on the verge of losing her job, and how much the anticipation of future events helps her maintain her peace of mind. On the other hand, Will Traynor is conscious of the fact that a motorcycle accident has stripped him of his zest for life. To him, everything now feels insignificant and lackluster, and he has a concrete plan to end it. What Will doesn’t realize, though, is that Lou is poised to enter his life in a way that will fill it with unexpected vibrancy. Both are oblivious to the profound impact they are about to have on each other’s existences.
