Paphos Agora Project

This book marks the beginning of a new series titled Paphos Agora Project. It aims to share the findings from the Jagiellonian University initiative along with its partner institutions, centered on the Agora and the broader ancient city of Nea Paphos, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This inaugural volume compiles research conducted between 2011 and 2015. There are plans for additional volumes to follow in the coming years. The series aspires to deepen understanding of Paphos, address numerous research challenges, stimulate further scholarly inquiries, and foster greater interest in the extensive study of Hellenistic and Roman Paphos and Cyprus as a whole.
