After gaining experience there, he ventured into freelance work, lending his coloring skills to a variety of comic series including Phonogram, Young Avengers, Thor, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Swamp Thing, The Wicked + The Divine, and Paper Girls. His impressive contributions to the industry were recognized in 2015 when he received nominations for both the Eisner and Harvey Awards.
