Dimensions of Dialogicality from Text to Real-Life

Nearly half a century has passed since Mikhail Mikhailovich Bakhtin (1895-1975) introduced the concept of the "dialogic imagination" in the title of his influential essays on language and the novel. This marked a transformative moment, setting a new path for linguistic and literary studies. This volume seeks to explore Bakhtin's (and to a lesser extent, Buber's) philosophical insights from three angles: discourse, the literary text, and interaction within educational contexts. By doing so, we aim to honor and acknowledge the wide reach and impactful nature of his ideas, highlighting their significant adaptability and productivity.
