Those who profit from dissatisfaction and insecurity see the rise in contentment as a serious threat to their business interests. In response, they launch campaigns warning that perpetual happiness could be harmful. The urgent quest to develop a vaccine kicks off. Simultaneously, a determined group of the newly joyful, known as the Recoverees, actively seeks to accelerate the virus's spread, hoping to reshape the world. Amidst diverse opinions and agendas, finding the truth becomes increasingly challenging. Three teenagers from varied walks of life find their paths converging at the heart of this struggle, where the future of humanity hangs in the balance.
