Tradycja powstań narodowych i oręża polskiego (1794-1864) w polityce pamięci II Rzeczypospolitej

The monograph presented here is rooted in a master's thesis defended at the Institute of History at the University of Warsaw in 2017. It explores the memory politics of the Second Polish Republic, specifically focusing on national uprisings and armed conflicts from 1794 to 1864, and the historical figures associated with these events. The author contends that this politics of memory was part of a broader political, social, and cultural framework, illustrating how the elites of that era shaped historical interpretation based on both domestic conditions and international dynamics.
