Quiet Belief in Angels

Joseph Vaughan's life has been overshadowed by misfortune. In the 1950s, he was caught up in a horrific series of murders targeting young girls in his close-knit rural community. These victims were abducted, violated, and left in a gruesome state. Though he was just barely in his teens, Joseph felt a strong urge to defend his community and classmates from the menace of the killer.

He and his peers formed a group known as 'The Guardians', yet their efforts were in vain as the murders continued unabated and the perpetrator remained at large. The reign of terror ended only a decade later when a neighbor was discovered hanging with items belonging to the slain girls surrounding him. This grim discovery brought the terrifying events to a halt.

However, the darkness of those days lingers, as it appears the true culprit may be alive and committing crimes once more. The key to uncovering the killer's identity is entangled within Joseph's own past.
