In 2006, with the release of "Warsaw Tales," New Europe Writers initiated a decade-long project aimed at encapsulating the essence of the "New" Europe through a series of anthologies. Each book in this series revolves around a specific city and seeks to present a captivating array of contemporary writings from both emerging and renowned authors, illustrating the vibrant and varied experiences of these transformative times. "Prague Tales," the second installment in this collection, features contributions from contemporary English-speaking writers as well as translated works of Czech authors. This blend of perspectives and styles allows readers to explore Prague, often referred to as the Magical City, and its surrounding Bohemia, weaving together travel and tradition in a way that both entertains and enlightens, inviting readers to immerse themselves in the literary landscape.New Europe Writers extends an invitation to the launch event of their latest release, "Prague Tales," an anthology showcasing pieces by authors intimately familiar with the multifaceted nature of Prague—its beauty, allure, illusory charm, and underlying corruption.
