Peaches for Monsieur le Cure (Chocolat 3)

Receiving a letter from someone who has passed away is certainly a rare occurrence. Vianne Rocher experiences just that, prompting her to drift back to the quaint village in the south-west of France where, nearly a decade prior, she had established her charming chocolate shop. However, Lansquenet has transformed dramatically since her departure. The village is now filled with women in dark veils, the air infused with the aroma of exotic spices and peppermint tea, and a minaret stands prominently across the river Tannes, directly opposite the church. The shifts in Lansquenet are not solely due to the new residents from North Africa. Father Reynaud, once Vianne's formidable foe, is now disgraced and in peril.
