Piotr Winczorek - sylwetka autora

Professor Piotr Henryk Winczorek, holding a doctorate and habilitation, was a distinguished Polish legal scholar, mainly focused on the study of the state and constitutional law. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, he gained recognition as a specialist in his field. Over the years, he authored and co-authored numerous publications, some of which were extensively published as books. His contributions to the academic world were acknowledged through his membership in the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN).

Throughout his career, Professor Winczorek lectured at his alma mater and the Higher School of Public Administration in Ostrołęka. His significant contributions to Poland's legal landscape were recognized with the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Among his noteworthy publications are several books, including "Miejsce i rola SD w strukturze politycznej PRL: Zagadnienia wybrane" published by "Epoka" in 1975, and "Problemy rozwoju demokracji socjalistycznej w PRL," co-authored with Jerzy Kowalski in 1981. Further, his work on "Doktryny 'socjalizmu samorządowego' we Francji i Jugosławii" was published by the University of Warsaw in 1989. He also authored "Nauka o państwie" with its first edition released by LexisNexis Poland in 2005, and provided insights in the "Komentarz do Konstytucji Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej z dnia 2 kwietnia 1997 r." published by Liber in 2008.
