I've been crafting my stories for as long as my memory serves me—though, truthfully, my earliest clear recollection is writing a piece at the age of nine in Mrs. Hurran's class. The tale revolved around a thief who, after stealing the crown jewels, found himself at a loss for what to do with them. It sprawled across numerous pages, with my characteristic messy handwriting, prompting my teacher to type it up and display it on the classroom wall—a moment of immense pride for me!

As time went on, life's demands led me to pursue a sensible career, relegating my passion for writing to a beloved hobby that often bewildered others. Along the way, I dallied in poetry, composed short stories, and drafted five novels that never reached completion. Come 2013, I resolved that things would change: I joined the Romantic Novelists Association New Writer Scheme, which provided me with a crucial deadline to motivate me—a full-length novel had to be finished and ready for review by August 31st. I managed to submit it a month early!

In 2014, I achieved a significant milestone by securing a two-book deal with Harper Impulse, a division of HarperCollins. My first novel, "It Started at Sunset Cottage," debuted as an ebook on February 12, 2015, followed by a paperback release on April 23, 2015. This book was later nominated for the Joan Hessayon New Writers' Award and was shortlisted for the RNA Contemporary Romantic Novel of the Year in 2016.

My follow-up novel, "A Family Holiday," came out in the summer of 2016 and also received a nomination for the RNA Contemporary Romantic Novel of the Year in 2017. In the same year, I transitioned to writing for Avon, another fantastic part of the HarperCollins family, where I penned bestsellers such as "Escape to Willow Cottage" and "Coming Home to Ottercombe Bay." My novels are released in four digital segments before being published in their entirety a few months later. "A Walk in Wildflower Park," my fifth novel, was published in June 2019 and was shortlisted for RNA Contemporary Romantic Novel of the Year.

The sixth book, "Meet Me At Pebble Beach," was launched on May 28, 2020. I'm currently in the process of editing my seventh novel while writing the eighth—stay tuned for updates! In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, cooking alongside my daughter, planning vacations, and taking care of rescued hedgehogs. I'm represented by Kate Nash of the Kate Nash Agency.
