In 1558, Europe is engulfed in chaos, with religious tensions igniting conflict across the continent. Elizabeth Tudor has recently taken the throne, yet her position is precarious amidst these turbulent times. Several factions are eager to see her dethroned, including Mary, Queen of Scots, who bides her time in Paris.

Faced with these threats, Elizabeth decides to establish a new secretive network of spies and agents, tasked with her protection and maintaining her grip on power. Amidst her search for trustworthy allies, one figure emerges as a loyal supporter.

For Ned Willard, the chance to serve Elizabeth isn't just an opportunity; it's a divine calling.
