Several months ago, Bellanova Halestorn accomplished the remarkable feat of resurrecting her world from decay. However, the revival of Noctaris is fragile, plagued by unpredictable and unstable magic. To make matters worse, Aleksander, who had been instrumental in helping Nova stabilize the realm, is now lost. His body has been taken over by Lorien Blackvale, a divine being seeking vengeance.
