The sole publication dedicated to the motorcycles crafted, engineered, and raced by the aviation pioneer and esteemed engineering genius, Glenn H. Curtiss. Renowned as one of the most significant figures in early aviation history, Curtiss stands out as one of the most brilliant minds of the early 20th century. Although best known for his rivalry with the Wright brothers in the nascent days of flight, Curtiss's expertise extended far beyond piloting and aircraft design. Hailing from Hammondsport, New York, his initial foray into speed and engineering began with bicycles, soon transitioning to motorcycles. Between 1902 and 1912, Curtiss and his team operated out of their Hammondsport workshop, where they built, sold, and competed with their engines and complete motorcycles. Notably, in 1907, Glenn Curtiss himself set a world land speed record by reaching 136 mph on his powerful V-8 motorcycle. This achievement earned him the title of the fastest man on Earth until 1911 and the fastest motorcyclist until 1930.
