I am the author behind the novel "DIETLAND," released in May 2015. This book has been adapted into a television series on AMC available in both the USA and Canada, and it can also be streamed on Amazon Prime across numerous countries. My essays have been featured in prominent publications such as the New York Times, the Guardian, and the Washington Post. In 2005, I contributed as a writer and editor to the revised edition of "Our Bodies, Ourselves," and I have previously written for magazines like Seventeen and Mademoiselle. I hold an M.F.A. in creative writing from Bennington College and earned my Ph.D. in English from the University of London.
