The Voyage Home

After a decade steeped in violence, the war has finally ended. Troy now exists in ruins, smoldering from the devastation wrought by the victorious Greeks, who are busy loading their ships with the treasures seized in battle. Among the plundered riches are numerous Trojan women taken captive by the Greeks, including the renowned prophetess Cassandra and her attentive maid, Ritsa. Cassandra, now enslaved as a war-wife to King Agamemnon, is tormented by ominous visions foretelling both his death and her own. Ritsa, on the other hand, must endure witnessing Cassandra’s turbulent premonitions as well as the unfolding tragedies.Awaiting the return of the fleet is Queen Clytemnestra, Agamemnon’s embittered wife. Her heart is still raw from her husband's decision to sacrifice their eldest daughter to the gods in the hope of favorable winds to Troy. She has spent the decade meticulously planning her revenge, dwelling in a palace haunted by the restless spirits of children. As each wife walks her path towards the other, sharing the singular prophecy of Agamemnon's demise, it is clear that this long-anticipated homecoming will irrevocably alter the course of everyone’s lives.
