Remigiusz Ryziński - sylwetka autora
The individual in question is a philosopher and cultural studies expert, having completed his education at the Jagiellonian University. He furthered his studies at the Sorbonne under the guidance of Julia Kristeva. His doctoral thesis focused on Roland Barthes's "A Lover's Discourse: Fragments," and in 2012, he achieved habilitation with a dissertation on contemporary French feminism. Currently, he holds a position as an associate professor in Warsaw. Over his career, he has been awarded scholarships from various organizations, including the French Government, Schuman Foundation, Nippon Foundation, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, and the Capital City of Warsaw. His body of work includes publications centered on modern culture and philosophy, with particular emphasis on feminism, gender theory, and queer theory. He has also translated works by Sartre, Eco, and Kristeva. In 2017, he published "Foucault in Warsaw," a report that earned him a nomination for the Nike Literary Award.
