Onjali Q. Raúf is the visionary behind Making Herstory, a dedicated organisation that enlists the efforts of men, women, and children from a variety of backgrounds to combat the abuse and trafficking of women and girls both within the UK and globally. In addition to her advocacy work, she devotes her spare time to delivering emergency aid to refugee families living in Calais and Dunkirk, and she actively participates in interfaith initiatives. Her academic background includes a focus on Women's Studies, which she pursued at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, as well as at Oxford University. She debuted as an author with her first novel, The Boy at the Back of the Class.
