Lorena Alvarez - sylwetka autora

I am an independent illustrator and artist residing in Bogotá, Colombia. My passion lies in working with colors and exploring various techniques, which allows me to approach each project uniquely, constantly aiming to learn something new daily. My portfolio includes illustrations for children's books, independent publications, advertisements, and fashion magazines. I operate from my home studio, surrounded by music and my loved ones. Currently, I'm engaged in personal projects like character design, paintings, T-shirts, and toys. I'm also proud to be a member of La Procesión Puppet Club, an avant-garde puppetry group. Although I consider myself a shy person, being involved in puppetry has been an enriching experience for me. Besides painting, I enjoy taking care of my dog and reading comic books. Recently, I have taken up playing the guitar. It's challenging, but it brings me joy.
