Leszek Żuk - sylwetka autora

The author originates from Jelenia Góra and completed his high school education at S. Żeromski High School. He pursued further studies at the University of Wrocław and the Pontifical Faculty of Theology. Holding a habilitated doctorate in philosophy from the University of Wrocław, he also possesses master's degrees in both biology and theology. A frequent mountain enthusiast, he favors the Sudetes for excursions, often accompanied by his wife. His interests include collecting minerals, fossils, shells, as well as various historical documents and old books. As he quips, he dabbles a bit in drawing, having designed all his book covers except for "Księga liści." Currently residing in Wrocław, he teaches English and has to his name several published books and numerous articles. Notably, his short story "Spadek" received recognition in Jerzy Pilch's competition and was included in the anthology "Pisz do Pilcha" (2005).
