Heather Fawcett - sylwetka autora

I was born and grew up in Vancouver, Canada, where I love exploring the wilderness, even if I occasionally lose my way. Additionally, I have spent significant time in Italy, indulging in a lot of pizza, despite learning only a bit of Italian. In Ireland, I pursued my interest in puffins and selkies with moderate success. Before embarking on my writing career, I held various roles, including working as an archaeologist, crafting technical manuals, and assisting behind the scenes at a Shakespearean theatre company, experiences which could easily inspire several novels. I earned a Master’s degree in English Literature and flirted with the idea of becoming a professor, until I realized it involved much more than enjoying literature, consuming copious amounts of tea, and donning colorful elbow patches. I am proudly represented by the wonderful Brianne Johnson at Writers House. My debut novel, EVEN THE DARKEST STARS, was acquired by HarperCollins/Balzer+Bray through a competitive auction as part of a six-figure, two-book deal.
