An English writer, born in Bombay, India, pursued his education at Queens' College, part of the University of Cambridge. After completing his studies, he spent some time as a teacher at Stowe in Buckinghamshire before dedicating himself to a writing career. He was passionate about hunting, flying, falconry, and fishing, and was a committed naturalist. His most notable achievement was gaining widespread recognition for his series of novels, "The Once and Future King," which reimagines the Arthurian legends as originally detailed in Thomas Malory's "Le Morte d'Arthur."
