Steve Niles, a well-known author in the realm of horror comics, has made significant contributions with titles such as "30 Days of Night," "Criminal Macabre," "Simon Dark," "Mystery Society," "Frankenstein Alive, Alive!" Growing up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Steve developed an affinity for music, writing, and filmmaking. He spent time working in comic book stores and played in bands such as Gray Matter and Three, both of which produced records with Dischord Records during the height of Washington's harDCore punk scene. Currently, Steve calls the outskirts of Los Angeles home, where he lives with his wife Monica, along with their two dogs, five cats, and Gil, the tortoise.
