Rafael Luciani - sylwetka autora
Venezuelan secular theologian and advisor to the Latin American Episcopal Conference. He earned his doctorate in theology from the Gregorian University in Rome. Earlier, he completed his undergraduate studies in philosophy and theology at the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome, and pursued pedagogical studies at the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas. He furthered his academic research at the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg. Currently, he serves as a professor of theology at Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas and at the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College in Boston. He actively participates in scholarly debates concerning contemporary issues facing the Church and promotes theological education for laypeople. He is the founder of the Ibero-American Theological Group. Among his numerous theological publications, one notable work is a book exploring the theological perspectives of the current pope, titled "Pope Francis and the Theology of the People" (2016).
