Maria Konnikova - sylwetka autora
An American author and journalist with Russian roots relocated to the United States at the age of four when the Soviet Union opened its borders in 1984 to allow Jewish emigration to Israel. Her literary work predominantly explores themes of psychology and literature. She grew up in a household without television, as her parents, wary of Soviet propaganda, wanted to shield her from it. She graduated magna cum laude in psychology and literature from Harvard University, where she was mentored by Steven Pinker. Her academic journey continued with a Ph.D. from Columbia University. After completing her studies, she worked as a producer on the public television show "Charlie Rose." She also contributed to a literary and psychological column for Scientific American and maintained her blog, "Artful Choice." Her debut book, "Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes," was published in 2013. More information about her work can be found on her website, https://******.**
