Marek Kornat - sylwetka autora
An associate professor at the Department of the History of Totalitarian Systems and World War II at the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences, he also serves as a professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. With a habilitated doctorate in historical sciences, he has penned several significant works. His monograph, "Poland in 1939 and the Ribbentrop–Molotov Pact: The Issue of German-Soviet Rapprochement in the Foreign Policy of the Second Polish Republic," published in Warsaw in 2002, is one of his notable contributions. Another crucial work is "Bolshevism – Totalitarianism – Revolution – Russia: The Beginnings of Sovietology and Studies on Totalitarian Systems in Poland (1918–1939)," volumes 1–2, published in Krakow between 2003 and 2004. He is also the author of "Balance Politics (1934–1939): Poland between East and West," published in Krakow in 2007. Additionally, he served as the editor of the volume "Polish Diplomatic Documents 1938," released in Warsaw in 2007.
