A graduate from Princeton University and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, this individual is an accomplished journalist, reporter, and writer. For 18 years, she produced news broadcasts for ABC, NBC, and CBS, and also worked for the New York Stock Exchange. At ABC, she collaborated with Barbara Walters, providing insights on figures such as Boris Yeltsin, Vaclav Havel, Muammar Gaddafi, and Benjamin Netanyahu. Her writing has been featured in numerous prestigious publications including "Vogue," "Marie Claire," "Town & Country," "More," "Departures," "Tin House," "O the Oprah Magazine," "The New York Times," and "The New York Times Magazine." She has been honored with the Lowell Thomas Awards four times, a recognition given by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation to journalists with a focus on travel reporting. Her impactful reporting from Rwanda, France, and Russia earned her the title of Travel Journalist of the Year. Additionally, her accounts of life in Moscow during the Cold War were recognized with a Solas Award. She studied Slavic languages and political science and resides in Connecticut with her husband and two children.
