Lawrence Kushner - sylwetka autora

Born in Detroit, Kushner completed his studies at the University of Cincinnati, graduating with honors as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then achieved rabbinical ordination from the Hebrew Union College located in Cincinnati. Afterward, Kushner dedicated 28 years to serving the Congregation Beth-El in Sudbury, Massachusetts. At present, he holds the position of Emanu-El Scholar-in-Residence at Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco. Kushner is also involved as an adjunct faculty member at the Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles, California. His previous academic contributions include teaching courses on spirituality and mysticism, in addition to mentoring rabbinic students as a visiting professor at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City. Kushner and his wife have three grown children, one of whom, Noa, serves as a rabbi at Congregation Rodef Sholom in San Rafael, California.
