I came into the world as a middle-class white child in Gary, Indiana, USA, marking the end of an era. My birth was nearly fatal for both my mother and me, given that I was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck—trying to accessorize before even taking my first breath. My mother recalls being taken to her room, looking out the window to see Gary in flames, as Dr. King had been assassinated just four days earlier. It felt apocalyptic to her. From that dramatic start, my life ambition has been to write (and perhaps rule the world, but one dream at a time). I've penned thirty-one books to date and counting, covering various series, including seven books in the Rock Chick Series, as well as installments in the Colorado Mountain, 'Burg, Dream Man, and Fantasyland Series. My literary creations also encompass tales of genies, ghosts, and a SuperWitch. Being self-published affords me the freedom to explore whatever topics I fancy, resulting in a diverse array of works involving everything from romance and adventure with Rock Chicks and Hot Bunch Boys, to paranormal stories featuring vampires and werewolves, as well as crime thrillers with serial killers and stalkers, and even narratives set in parallel universes. I am passionate about movies, music, food, and fashion, indulging especially in the latter two whenever possible, though the demands of time and finances sometimes limit the first and last, respectively. My love of food extends to sharing my favorite recipes, available for you to explore on this site. My upbringing took place in Brownsburg, Indiana, and I've also lived in Denver, Colorado, and the West Country of England, which has allowed me to cultivate friendships and family ties around the world. My family is wonderfully eccentric, and I grew up in a large, multigenerational household on a small farm. Influenced by sounds of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon, and Whitesnake, and supported by a wardrobe to match, my childhood was filled with music, clothing, and love—a truly enriching environment. As I continue to evolve, so does everything around me, and for that, I am grateful.
