Before embarking on her career as an author, Kresley Cole was recognized as a world-class athlete and completed her Master's degree. Since the debut of her first book in 2003, she has penned a total of fourteen novels along with two novellas, mastering two distinct subgenres. Cole first gained attention with her Sutherland Series, a set of historical novels that laid the foundation for her subsequent success.
