Kat fell in love with Harlequin novels during her third-grade year and has been filling notebooks with her stories since she first mastered writing. Naturally, her focus is on romance. When she's not crafting tales of love and happy endings, you'll find her cheering at soccer games, enjoying episodes of "Friends," or dancing with her children to the tunes of Duran Duran and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Residing in North Texas with her husband and two sons, Kat is an enthusiastic member of Romance Writers of America®. Her talent was recognized when she became the winner of the 2011 Harlequin So You Think You Can Write contest and a finalist in the 2012 RWA® Golden Heart® awards for an unpublished contemporary series manuscript.
