This extraordinary children's book author and illustrator was born on April 16, 1964, in Stockholm. Since her graduation from the Beckmans College of Design in 1991, she has pursued a professional career in children's book illustration. Over the years, she has brought to life numerous stories through her art. Her collaboration with Martin Widmark led to the creation of the highly acclaimed and bestselling series, The Whodunit Detective Agency, comprising 18 books. This partnership earned her widespread fame, as well as recognition from both critics and readers.

Willis has a unique ability to convey a story through her drawings, often expressing more than words alone could achieve.
