Professor Edward Olszewski is a distinguished Polish historian who graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, specializing in history. His expertise covers Polish diaspora issues, emigration, the history of political and legal doctrines, modern history, and contemporary political movements. He is a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and has been a long-time faculty member at his alma mater. In addition to teaching there, he has lectured at the Higher School of International Relations and Social Communication in Chełm and the Higher School of National Economy in Kutno. It's important not to confuse him with Edward Olszewski (born 1955), known for his work as a local government official and union activist.
