Anna Bedyńska - sylwetka autora

With extensive experience as a documentary photographer, Anna has been involved in various social projects and has worked for Gazeta Wyborcza, Poland's largest national newspaper. She also lectures on Press Photography at Warsaw University. Anna's work has twice been recognized with grants from the Ministry of Polish Culture, adding to her accolades such as winning the prestigious World Press Photo award. Her photographic projects, including "Dad in Action," "Clothes for Death," and "Go Home, Kids," have been instrumental in national social campaigns aimed at humanizing aspects like death and childbirth.

Anna often shines a light on taboo topics and sensitive issues, emphasizing the position of women in contemporary society. She focuses her lens on those who have remained outside the mainstream, living on the fringes of social or psychological life. In 2014, she relocated to Moscow and graduated from Marina Razbezkhina and Mikhail Ugarov's School of Documentary Film and Theatre. Her debut film, "In Another World," received the Best Student Documentary award at the 2017 Kinoproba festival in Russia. Currently, Anna is based in Tokyo.
