Andrzej Wojnach - sylwetka autora

Film and television director, producer, screenwriter, journalist, media manager, and academic lecturer, this individual has built a multifaceted career. He began by working in the directorial division at Film Teams and contributed as a reporter and critic for the weekly FILM. He also served as an editor at TVP and eventually took on the role of director at the TVP Training and Analysis Center. As a member of the Steering Committee for Working Group F of the European Broadcasting Union, he represented Poland in working groups focused on media training development at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Throughout his career, he has written screenplays for feature films, television series, and made-for-TV movies. His interest in media research has shaped his work since 2000, resulting in numerous publications such as "Wielka i mała narracja," "Dekonstrukcja czy Mitologizacja Europy," "Formatowanie mediów – formatowanie umysłów," "Oblężona twierdza – obraz mediów w początku wieku," "Próba genologii formatów," and "Animacja jako nowy kod kulturowy." He also translated the book "Thinking Animation: A Handbook for Filmmakers."

Between 2000 and 2009, he taught at the Jagiellonian University, the Pedagogical University, and Krakow's A. Frycz Modrzewski Academy. Since 2009, he has been a faculty member at the Film Arts Organization Department at the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź.
