Agnieszka Metelska - sylwetka autora

Journalist, poet, and lawyer. She is the author of the collections *Szukanie puenty życia* and *Gdzie diabeł nie może…* (jointly with Ewa Nowakowska) as well as the reportage collection *Pokuta po polsku*. Her piece *Tragarze codzienności* was recognized as one of the most significant reports of the 20th century, featured in the anthology *100/XX. Antologia polskiego reportażu XX wieku*, edited by Mariusz Szczygieł. She worked as a reporter for *Kobieta i Życie*, *Życie Literackie*, *Przegląd Tygodniowy*, and *Twój Styl*. In addition to her journalistic endeavors, she has written plays and song lyrics. Transitioning from journalism to law, she served as the spokesperson for the Polish Bar Council and currently manages her own law firm. Even in her legal career, she continued to publish, releasing poetry collections *Pamięć* and *Ślad*, as well as contributing a piece on political trials to the book *Adwokatura warszawska w latach nadziei i przełomu (1956–2009)*.
